    Mego scaled Bell 47 helicopter

Anyone know where I can find one? For those that don't know the Bell 47 is the helicopter you saw in M.A.S.H. and that was also used for the Batcopter.
A few years ago Cotswold apparently had one for sale that was meant for GI Joe dolls, but the scale was all wrong, it was better scaled for Mego figures. I don't know the name of the toy company that made it

Maybe Chap Mei? Its the ones that make Power Team and the cool cheapo 3 3/4 inch figures that are at most of the dollar type stores.

      Hi Thomas,
The chopper sold by Cotswold was by a company called Sunny Smile, the line of toys was called Strike Force.
Here is a link that has a photo of all their toys, and yes, you are correct, they are actually Mego scale.

SO did I. Couldn't find any except a R/C one that sounded small.

Easier to find in your part of the world than here in North America I would think Thomas. SunnySmile was a UK based toy company that bit the dust in the late nineties/early 2000's. I once read somewhere many moons ago that they borrowed the molds for some of their vehicles (including the helicopter) from another UK company called Chad Valley (or something like that). In the eighties Chad Valley became part of the Woolworths UK chain, and the name was used for their in house toy lines.
I'm thinking the moulds were probably bought by somebody else during the bankruptcy liquidation of Sunnysmile, but due to the Woolworths/Chad Valley tie in, it's possible Woolworths still owns the toolings? (just thinking.....I believe I read somewhere Woolworths UK went bellyup due to the recession last month??)
