Mego 9 inch/Hasbro or FC comparison?

Can anybody do a pic for me of the bodies to compare them? Or just let me know if the patterns would work for both?

Without even taking a Pic...I would say they definitely would NOT work for both! Too different a Body type.

Speaking of which; what happened to the new FC site? Is it gone again?

What patterns are you talking about? The ones that Corey Wood did, or the ones on the FC site?

I have never had an FC, so I can't compare the body types, but from what I remember of them, the female figures were bigger in the bust area, wider in the hips, and had longer legs.

So the CW patterns definitely wouldn't work for them.

OK, well, lets say not the spandex ones. If I had to make a loose fitting jacket for a 9 inch Mego MALE, would I be able to use a Hasbro as a mannequin?

Didn't mention Cory Wood patterns anywhere. I have FC patterns and want to know if they would work for 9 inch Mego males.

            Okay then; FC patterns.

Having never made up any of them myself, the only advice I can give is to trace the pattern onto tissue paper, and drape it onto the action figure. That will give you an idea of how it will fit.

Paper towels are sturdier than tissue paper, and as everyone knows, come in huge rolls.

Just don't use the patterned ones; plain white will do nicely.

My problem is that I don't have a Mego 9 inch MALE, and want to use a Hasbro body as a model if they are the same height. Its for a commision, and I don't have the body to use as a model. If I had the body I wouldn't be asking.
