I had seen a link here before describing how to make cowboy hats and such from felt i believe. If anyone knows where that link or information is, I would greatly appreciate it.

I was making felt hats a few years ago using a similar technique. I also had pretty good results using t shirt jersey material.
I used floral crafters heavy spray on acrylic as my stiffener. Mainly because I had been given a can for free.
After making the hat, use a steamer iron to soften it and you can do the blocking of the crown.sigpicComment
