    Your Best Custom of 08 ???

    Hey Guys,

    So,.. The Question, because its that time Again. What was your Personal best figure you Made in the last year. What's your favorite Accomplishment in the Action figure World of Creating ? It could be What you think your Best work was,.. or something that took a very long time to creat, or what are you Most proud of ? I'll start,.. since I started the Thread. For me,.. I gotta couple.

    Green Lantern Alan Scott. }

    I was really Happy How this guy Turned out... I love the Cape Most of all.. It was the 1st time I sewed the 2 tone color Cape... something I never did before,.. & liked the Outcome. I also Boosted & Molded the Lantern,.. inwhich was very difficult for me..

    Superman/ Batman }

    Just to have these 2,.. is neat. The Late 70's/80's Incarnations of the characters the way they looked in the Books , & suped up verstions of the Super Power's look of the characters is too cool for me. Big thanks to Boss & Austin for Making it Possible.

    Zombie Colonel America }

    Far More work than I have EVER done on any figure. It took me about 2 yrs to get him the way I wanted him,.. quite a bit of cash too. Hell,.. I sculpted half the Body over parts... & the Hr's spent on Painting that Sheild & body, & blood was just a NightMare. .. But all in all, he does make me want to make another Marvel Zombie.

    So what say you ?
    Whats your Personal best Guys ? Don't be shy ? Lets break in the New Yr,.. with a Refection of what you Made this Past.

      Great stuff guys. I went back and looked at my body of work for 2008 - and chose 2 that I enjoyed for different reasons.

      Captain America: Next to Spiderman, he is my favorite Marvel superhero. When I found the shiny blue material, I knew I was going to make him. I really like this shot:

      Ross Shazam: This was my favorite custom to make for lots of reasons. That suit is just classic - and oh so much fun to do. The cape looks simple to make, but it's not. I just had more fun making this one...and I really became a Ross fan studying the artwork.

          It's so hard to choose, so I am listing two:
          General Ursus, which is really a Mego soldier ape repainted

          and my first human, Colonel George Taylor:

          Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.
          Samples of my work are found here: Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness

          To do list:
          1:6 boots for Mathilda, 1:1 Romulan Commander outfit, Ursus helmet; Cornelius appliance
          1:9 scale ape's new suit for Cornelius;

            Here's my best of '08. It doesn't really compare to the other submitted customs, but I worked hard on it.

                    This Year is a toss up between Croc Master, Snake Eyes and Low Light......

                    The Joe series that I have been working on for some time is probably the most fun I have doing customs.
                    Don't be sorry. How would you know? You've been watching MTV all your life.

                      Fantistic stuff from people, all of them are really nice.

                      I guess my choices are as follows.

                      Hawkman turned out pretty cool, and he photographs nicely.

                      I also love my Solomon Grundy recently finished except for shoes. I can't find any.
                      "Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."

                              You Know,.. some high lace 12" boots cut Down might work for him,.. they would look a Bit oversized,.. but if the right ones were found/bought, it could work imo.
