Is anyone familiar with Custom Labs?
I agree...Russ is a nice guy and he makes great looking heads. However, if you order from him; just give him a little time..this is a hobby for him and at times he's inuandated with orders. Especially, if you want him to cast and shrink a head.Comment

His workmanship and quality is excellent.He is a decent guy to deal with but yes you need to be patient like a few months sometimes...LOL.

Call me crazy, but I think that having to wait months for an order is beyond unacceptable. He has a website and he's taking payment for his products. That's not a hobby, that's a business, and should be treated as such. If you can't handle it, close your doors. He's not having these made in China, so what's the hold-up? YOU have to be patient? Which in my opinion is a great loss for you.
You can not rush quality!!!
I have worked production as a supervisor for many years and professionally speaking there is a sacrifice in quality when you push for quantity.It is a fine line.I will take quality over quantity any day.
You are right these are not china made so they are not readily available.
Have you ordered from him before???
If not then why are you commenting here anyway???
I know I have and will continue to in the future.
In life you will find patience will get you further than impatience...

As a member of this forum I have every right to comment on any subject. That's none of your concern.
I'll tell you, I might have ordered from him, but the comments I read have convinced me otherwise. These are homemade resin heads that he says are available. Why would they take months to be sent out? He's not waiting for payment, why should you have to wait so long to get it? I can understand a few weeks, but months? There isn't that much quality in the world.Comment

Firstly you are making a derogatory comment about a person that you have obviously from your own statements had no dealings with.
I for one have had dealings with them and have said a true factual comment on my experience.
Perhaps before making a statement like this you could be a well informed consumer/customer and direct an E-mail to said person and get the answers for yourself.Again you will find in this hobby a lot of things take time,so be prepared to wait for things.But with your attitude I'm sure people may not want to deal with you.Again just my OPINION.These are homemade resin heads that he says are available. Is anyone familiar with Custom Labs?.....
In a nutshell, if you order the resin heads from Custom Labs.....you'll get them in about a week to a week and a half. However, if you want him to cast and shrink your own head, that might take a little longer because it falls under custom projects, and he's always inundated with those particular orders.
