Ultraman custom

Didnt Popy (Mego's Japan connection) make an Ultraman figure. I think I seen it in the Musuems gallery here. They also had a Gatchaman (Battle of the Planets/G-Force) action figure that I would love have.

yes popy made both the gatchaman and ultraman figures. the gatchaman features all cloth outfit with vinyl cape. for ultraman they used a spongy type material which was definitely not made to last for a long time because they tend to be very fragile. i had one and when i moved one of ultraman's arms, the suit literally ripped apart.

This thread's inspired me to try and make an Ultraman custom of my own. Anyone ever make or cast a head at Mego scale, or is there a head out there that would be in Mego scale already? I'm looking at the Trendmasters(?) 8" Ultraman from a few years back.
