CTVT has a rotocast, vinyl female head with actual rooted hair!

She looks to be rather pretty, and not too shabby looking.

The hair is blonde (of course it can always be rerooted)

It's only going for two dollars, so that's a bargain price.

She doesn't look as bland as the DocMego reissue of Supergirl (sorry Doc!)

So, who here is going to be the first to buy, scalp, and reroot the little dear.

I'd do it, but I just went on a bit of a shopping spree today, and I have to wait for my next paycheck before I go on another one.

I saw that this afternoon. I put one in my shopping cart so we'll see. I need a female head with black hair, so maybe it can be dyed. And yes, it's Kelly Bundy. THat would be a pretty hot Supergirl.

Since I never really saw the Kelly Bundy doll up close, I had no idea of what she looked like.

I don't think that kind of hair can be dyed. You'd have to completely reroot the head.

It could be worst.

It could have been the Cindy Brady head. *shudders*

Well, when I get paid this week, I'll find out. I plan on getting at least two for rerooting purposes.

All the CTVT heads outside of the Mego repros are outta whack in scale. Kelly Bundy looked liker a lollypop her head was so big.

Hey Jedi Jaida
If The head your looking at is the Kelly head. Then you should know that it is a good scale for mego. Unlike the freaky big Marylyn of the Munster line. The Kelly head is usually sold on a NON articulated body. So the neck plugs are different and Kellys neck hole needs some reshaping via exacto knife to fit the wider mego female neck. The other good thing about the Kelly head is that it does'nt have that egg shape that the supergal/wonder woman head has. Also If you need female heads look in Micheal's. They have perfect scales heads in doll making and in the cake decorating areas.

You mean the ones on sticks?

I've seen them and while they are sort of passably cute, I want something with a bit more oomph to a female head.

The heads you mentioned all look like small children and that just looks incongruous on an adult body.

(Hey! I just used incronguous correctly in a sentence! Yay me!)

There are fashion doll heads on sticks, but they are all Barbie sized and much too large for a Mego, CTVT, or DM body.

yeah, I saw them. Peggy Bundy, the Bradys, Marcy Darcy, etc.

Nothing truly original in the batch.

I just got a bunch of Kelly heads, and let me just say that the paint job is going to be erased ASAP!

They made this head look even more vacuous than the person in question!

And that is saying something.

The neck hole is a bit small, but I can trim it a bit with an exacto knife.
