I need a female body

Uh, that sounded a little creepy.

What I am in need of is a body to use for a custom. I'm not sure what my options are at this point. I'm making a special figure for my granddaughter for X-mas. I'm thinking I really don't have options and would have to acquire an old Mego figure to do this. I don't see anyone selling these except CtVT. Yeah, I don't think so. Any ideas? I could use a head too.

Yeah, Dorothy, Glinda or a Walton on eBay go cheap. Until Doc Mego has repro female bodies eBay is your best bet

I've never seen anything posted here that even smells like a rumor of them doing so.

I'd love to get one of each, if they do.

One of Doc's and one of theirs and do a comparison.

Hold on, just a couple of weeks, Doc says that they will be here later on in the month.

The articulation was nice, but the arms were just waaaaay too skinny to be believable.

They still could have made the arms slim, without making them look like twigs.

Hopefully Doc's new bodies avoid that problem.

I can't wait to check out the articulation on them.

If the curves were more exaggerated to any degree, then they wouldn't look like superheroines, they'd look like bimbos in superheroine costumes.

I don't want extremely exagerated, just more comic book heroine looking. Wonder Woman should look more like a woman than Mego's did. That one looks like a kid in WW jammies.

I disagree.
I want the Jim Lee / Benes / Jurgens - ESQUE Female Body.
I want a Body in where the Female Custom figures would be on par with what People are doing with the Male Figures Today. & I want a Female Body that looks like some of what I consider the Top Artists drew today. Maybe 2to3 different Cup Sizes too. Just my Opinion.

There are a variety of Xena figures out there, but I don't know exactly what size you are after. Mego size, my only opinion would echo what's already been said.

These are 10" and may make a nice Giganta, but for others I will likely hold out and see what the good doctor has come up with.

I agree with Black Knight. we need a basic figure but with 3 availible cup sizes. women are different shapes and so are the comic characters. not all are Wonder Woman or Powergirl who would be D or DD Cup and then there is someone like Shadowcat, Arrowette and Roxy from Gen-13 who are more A to B cup which is what the original Megos look like, more of a young girls or early teenagers body would be like. it would be nice if they also had different availible Butt sizes as well. after all if the men are muscled and buff the women should be curvy and buff.

Hmmmm....

I'd always found the female body to be a good design. Could use swivel biceps, but other than that it's pretty good. It looks more natural once you put an outfit on it. The design is similar to a dressmaker's mannequin, and looks kinda scrawny nekkid.

....which is exactly what you need if you're making modern superhero figures. Hence the custom torsos I made. And the 7" body. The actual 7" Mego body was pretty bad.
