    Coloring/Dying an ASTRONAUT jumpsuit

Is there any way that an APES Astronaut jumpsuit can be dyed? I have two that would be in nice shape except for the fact that they are that weird two-toned, faded appearance...

Is there any way to dye these? (I won't spray paint them as I've seen some people do, not only does that look bad, but it makes the suits stiff enough to punch a finger thru.)

What material is it made of?

If it's cotton, then it should take dye well.

If it's polyester, then I don't think so.

DocMego's bodysuits are made of cotton, and the best ones to dye are the white ones, after washing them to remove the sizing.

I simply fabric painted mine to a nice bright blue.

Now that might be something to try.. I'd imagine that fabric paint wouldn't dry as "crisp" as spray paint... Unless I'm wrong? LMK if you've noticed otherwise...

And JediJaida, the ASTRONAUT jmpers are made of nylon... I dd try to bleach an A/J jumper to see the results... Not only did they bleach out an off white, but the thread pretty much evaporated, making the suit useless...

          Nylon. Feh.

Fabric paint sounds like a good idea to me.

If you sharp edges, try fabric paint markers.

I used the fabric paint available at Jo-Anne's and it didn't "crisp" it up. I always thought the nylon suit was a bit crispy in the first place.
