    restringing CTVT my spin.

Hey Yunz guys. (traditional Pittsburgh greeting)

With the a greatful nod to Jason and Steve. Here is my take on there greatful tip on restringing of CTVT figures. I recieved my latest order and was as ussual very happy with the products. But as Dave will tell ya. 1 of the figures I ordered came with ruptured hip pins. But we can fix that.

I found these small buttons at Wallymart. Sorry I forgot to write down the maker or number assigned to these particular buttons.

From here I follow pretty much the tips of Jason and Steve. Threading the white elastic string through the pelvis and out the hip openings. My alternative is that I thread the string through one of the buttons back through the hip and pelvis and as normal to the upper torso and arms.

I finish like Jason's tip. By knotting at the neck opening. To tension the elastic. I just twist the torso and hips in opposite direction. As Jason points out. The upper arms (under this tension) dont hold poses to well. I usually just notch the edge of the upper arms connection ring. If the shoulder opening doesnt collapse in on itself. These notches catch and hold along the shoulder opening. You have to be careful not to notch to deep or you will rupture the ring and lose the hole for your restringing. (Hope that made sense)
