The panel was decent. Marty talked about licensing back in the day and Doc mego and Dave Mc discussed the Emcee line. They are planning on a re-release of the ST Enterprise.

Big news from Marty- He once again owns the Mego name and can release toys under it. Apparently, the name was bundled in a package of intellectual properties. He bought the whole thing and its back where it belongs. According to Marty, no worries about Lego.

I don't think this means he'll be releasing any clothed, 8-inch figures any time soon, but he can release toys under the name. I think, howeverm he gernally sells toy ideas to other manufacturers now.

On the Mego front I did pick up a boxed 12-inch Hulk from Mark Huckabone. And I got an Emcee Sulu and Gorn. I also got a Fleetwood Spidey and Hulk glider and an AHI Batman Bat Ray.

Thanks for the update Bill, that's neat news about the Mego name. Considering it's the Abrams family history, it makes sense he'd want it back.

It would be wonderful to see something, anything in TRU with the Mego logo again.

I posted this in its own thread, too. How cool would it be to see the 'M' again?
