The guy's work may not be to everyone's liking but if anyone deserves some recognition, he does. And let's not forget Mr.Arendson for the amazing boxes he made for Charlee's figures. This was back when you didn't have more than Photoshop 2.0 and a cheap scanner and if you were lucky, a Pentium 75.

Yes...My Hat's off to both of these Gentelmen! I believe They are the ones that started it all...I know they did for Me. I remember seeing Charlie's Custom's...and Scott's Boxes for the first time...I was in AWE!!!

I was bummed I couldn't afford to buy any of them however...so I was forced to make My own. Thank You Guy's...for all the inspiration!!

        I agree!

I'm new here & I'm impressed by most everyone's efforts. I can't cast or sew, and paint only a little. And God knows, I'm probably the greatest luddite on the forum!

But design is my strong point, and I remember contacting Charlee over ten years ago (through ToyFre!) because I always wanted a Flash, Green Lantern, Luthor, & Doc Ock.

What a patient, encouraging guy! And several of the heads Doc Mego now offers were initially created by Charlee at my commission. Troy Younger, too, helped me many years ago with some great head sculpts.

Our hobby has grown, and as a new member I'm meeting some very kind people & some amazing talents. But I think we all owe Charlee a debt of gratitude.

        Scott

Dave, I just sent two e-mails to you via [email protected] to let you know that I am moving in 2 weeks and will need my early birds sent to my new address. Both times the e-mails bounced back to me. Yahoo claims that your e-mail account doe not exist.
