Thank you for the nice comments.
My original intent was to follow the original series look but it mutated slightly as it went on. Being my first attempt at a diorama type playset, it was a great learning experience and the final result is not too embarrassing. I may continue the room later with more accurate walls and some minor color change ups. We'll see. The background walls in the photo are obviously plastic lids to some storage bins, but they did in a pinch.
I think some sort of lights shining up from the bottom would look even cooler, maybe have that 'transport in progress' look but I was unable to find ones that looked right and didn't heat up too much. Gotta keep safety in mind.

I think that is a good idea as well when and if you can incorporate that into your custom. I am amazed at how good yours look. Makes mine look sickly. On the brighter side you did give me a couple of good ideas for mine.
