Baby anything. Muppets, Looney Toons.

Bob the builder - not only was this show sappy sweet, but the way they built everything on the show was incorrect.

oh man I can't list 20. If I didn't like it I didn't watch it so I can't remember the names of the ones I hated

But one does stand out ... Rubixs or something like that. It's the show with the magic rubix cube that would lose it's power if he got mixed up and only the older brother could solve the rubix puzzle ... I hated that show, but to this day when I see a rubix cube I hold it in my hand and say RRRRRRRRruuuuuubbbbbbbbiiiiiiixxxxxxxxxx :please_y:

by the way I loved smurfs I even went as one for Halloween when I was 5 years old

I don't know if I can name 20, but I'll see what I can remember. I love 70's cartoons better than the 80's, but here's my list:

1: The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo: I hate this version of Scooby Doo more than any other incarnation. Replacing Fred and Velma with Scrappy Doo and that stupid kid Flim Flam. Disgusting!!

2: Any Scooby Doo show with Scrappy Doo in it.

3: Monchichis (I blame them for replacing the SuperFriends on Saturday mornings in 1983).

4: Goldie Gold and Action Jack: This show was so stupid, I can't help but say ?!!

5: Buford Files and the Galloping Ghost (Saw this crap on Cartoon Express on USA in the early 80's)

6: Plastic Man season two with Baby Plas

7: Fangface season 2 with Fangpuss!! Same concept as Plastic Man

8: Rickety Rocket: (Part of the Plastic Man Comedy Adventure Show in 1979 but was removed)

9: The Littles

10: Rubik: The Amazing Cube

11: Inch High Private Eye (though I love most 70's cartoons, I hated this one!)

12: The Puppy's New (Further) (Great) Adventures. They ran this crap with Scooby Doo for a couple of years

13: Mork and Mindy with that alien "thing" of Mork's.

14: Laverne and Shirley in the Army with a pig for a commanding officer

15: Season 2 of Pac Man with Cousin PJ and Super Pac Man. Stupid!!!

16: Donkey Kong Junior

17: Q Bert

18: The Dukes: While I am a a Dukes of Hazzard fan, the cartoon was too bizarre for my taste. Plus, they made most of the episode with Coy and Vance. Though it was nivce to see Bo and Luke in animation eventually.

19: Jana of the Jungle I originally liked it but it wore me out fast

20: The Thing and his ring on the Flintstones cartoons. Thing Ring Do Your Thing. Ugh!! I like the Fantastic Four 1978 cartoons better than this!!!!

Cheers.

Hmmmm....

You're all forgetting the WORST show EVER: Turbo Teen.

>4: Goldie Gold and Action Jack: This show was so stupid, I can't help but say ?!!

I barely remember this one. Pan down to the second post; there's some good quotes for both these shows:

For some unknown reason I love this series as a kid and have tracked down epsiodes as an adult.

As for worst cartoons, I've always hated the ones where it's obvious no one cares, it's passionless and done without an ounce of creativity. My daughter gets spoonfed a lot of this stuff on the various kinder channels.

Offhand I remember disliking The Snorks, Shirt tales, Season 2 Plastic Man, THE TOOTHBRUSH FAMILY (whoever made this hated Children) , Carebears and anything with Scrappy Doo (especially the Don Messick voiced Scrappy).

Yes. Worst. Cartoon. EVER.

Horrible.

I'd put the current FF cartoon on this list. I can't stand it at all.

I was never crazy about Turbo Teen but I could handle it better than some others like the Shirt Tales. Oh and here's another bad one, The Biskitts!!! Ugh!! I saw this along with Shirt Tales on USA's Cartoon Express.

BTW, I heard there was a 1960's Super Hero cartoon that was downright awful. It was called Super President. Has anybody ever seen this? Supposedly, it ranks right up there with the silliness of the Impossibles.

Speaking of the Don Messick voiced Scrappy Doo, Messick used that same annoying voice for a little pipsqueak character on a 70's cartoon that to me was just as bad as Inch High Private Eye. Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch. He played the little chopper that kept saying, "I Told Ya I Told Ya." Oh geeze! I can't believe I remember that!! Not mention Arnold, the Paper Boy on the Flinststones.

Cheers.

Regarding the 1978 Fantastic Four series, there were only 2 things in it that I felt were good. Casting
Mike Road as Reed Richards and Ted Cassidy as the Thing. The Voice of Sue Richards was all right I suppose., but that's it. The animation is lousy and sloppy. And of course, the mutual hatred of HERBIE and his replacing the Human Torch. The villains were awful and Doctor Doom especially.
The funny thing is, I remember watching the show on NBC on occasion back in 1978 and I remember I liked it back then. But surprisingly, having seen it again for the first time since then, I feel I have been robbed of some fond memories. I even had a coloring book of this cartoon when I was a kid and the character designs were far better.
A crying shame and the Thing and His Ring cartoon must have been dreamed up by someone who was either drunk or high. What I would have loved to have seen was the FF guest appear on SpiderMan and His Amazing Friends, and the best Doctor Doom I've ever seen in animation was on the 1981 solo series in a 5 five part story.
Cheers.

Snorks blew chunks....Kid Video...keerap!
Probably the absolute WORST cartoon I can think of right now was the Smoggies. An island of little hippy/smurf crossbreeds that were always dueling with these three losers who lived in an oozing oil tanker.

Another Saturday morning staple on Canadian tv that would drive me nuts was "Snelgrove Snail"......I still shudder at the name. It wasnt animated, but it was BAD! Growing up in the country, we never had the luxury of cable. You were stuck with three (later four) channels. Only two of which showed anything resembling saturday morning cartoons, and these were usually old favourites like Bugs Bunny, Spidey, and RocketRobin Hood, followed up by crap like Snelgrove, or reruns of Swiss Family Robinson.
When we did get new cartoons it was always crummy stuff like the ones mentioned above.
