Check out this cool ad for Megos (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_d5cUfdlWeLQ/SdHkPxK8ZoI/AAAAAAAAA54/DK3o75rBNd0/s1600-h/ASM201_14.jpg). It's a large picture, but I made it large for better viewing. I got it from one of my comics. I wish I could remember which one now. I have more ads I need to put on my lame blog, but so far this is the best one.

Those old ads are great...I always loved the Heroe's World & Superhero Toy Cataloges that had this type of stuff in it.

That's cool! I didn't realize that HERO'S WORLD had physical locations. Apparently one of them was in the Woodbridge Mall in Woodbridge, NJ? That's awesome. I've been in that mall. Wish I knew what storefront in the mall they were in...would be cool to check it out.

It was located upper level Fortunoff's wing. Coming out off Fortunoffs it was the second store on the right. It had a cool break out wall affect as the entrance. They also owned the 1st store out off Fortunoff's called Good Greif. In the mid to late eighties they shut down the Heroes world one and moved it into the Good Grief one, renaming it Heroes World.

I started working for them in 1989, it was a cool job, all fun little pay.

Great ad and I love the little mistakes on it, like Green Goblin. What is he doing on there? And Hulk looks twice the size of the others in the ad, while in fact he's even smaller than most Megos.

It's funny I have 9 different Mego adds from comics and that's the first time I have seen this one..very cool thank you ! The Hotwheels part of the add is what realy get's me , because i have the Hulk Van to this day...It's neat cuz you look through a little hole in the back and you see Hulk comeing at you ripping apart the inside of the van. thanks for that rush of nostalgia:wink:

You don't have any old photos of the place do you? That would be cool to see.
