Kingdom Come Superboy
Superboy was made for the Toyfare "Make a Legionnaire" contest. He was a bit rushed, and looks it, but turned out all right.

MEGO Parts:

       Chest - Modified early MEGO chest
       Upper arms
       Fists - Modified MEGO hands
       Feet - Modified MEGO feet, shaped to look like boots

Parts made from scratch:
Head made from Super Sculpey and cast using Pour On.

Red Zeo Ranger
I made a complete set of Zeo Rangers for a gentleman by the name of Michael Leary. These figures were a giant pain, but really helped me hone my sculpting and mold making skills.

       Chest - Modified early MEGO chest

       Fists - Modified MEGO hands

Parts made from scratch:
       Head made from Super Sculpey and cast using Pour On
       Boots: I cast a MEGO "Chips" boot in plaster, modified the cast. I then cast the finished boot using pour on.
       Because the boot is solid it isn't attached by sliding a foot into it. I modified the lower portion of the MEGO leg so that I could set a short piece of threaded rod into it using Rock Hard Water Putty. I then drilled a hole into the boot that was a bit larger in diameter then the threaded rod in the leg when dry. I then set the boot into the leg, once again, using the water putty.

Accessories:
The gun and blade are from the carded 5" Zeo Rangers. The belt and holster are made from gold leather.

Other:
The bib, collar was made by copying a design to transfer paper and then ironing on the image to a piece of white cloth.

Ultra Boy
After making the KC Superboy, I became enamored with the Legion of Superheroes. Ultra Boy came out of this. I'm planning to make more Legionnaires when I have time.
