    Tony Dezuniga RIP...

Just read this on George Perez's Fan Facebook page:

Tony DeZuniga, R.I.P. - News From ME

I am a HUGE fan of Infinity Inc and also All Star Squadron. He made Todd McFarlane's Infinity Inc art look INCREDIBLE. Great inker and Great artist. Another great one that I'll never get to meet. Thanks for your incredible work over the years. RIP Tony.

Here are 6 pages from my Comic Art Fans page:

"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
    The beauty that surrounds them
    Isn't it a pity".

This is sad news. I met him up at a Chicagocon back in the early eighties and he was a helluva nice guy! RIP, Tony....
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Thankfully, Back Issue profiled him a while back. So many of these greats pass on before someone reaches out to them for their story.

A tremendous talent, both as penciler and inker. His paintings were also superb.
