Action Jackson Jungle Safari Outfit

I won an auction for an Action Jackson figure and a jungle safari outfit. I noticed that the jungle safari outfit on MM is different from the one I received. Did Mego make variations of the jungle safari outfit?

As you can see in the picture, the mess kit is broken. The crocodile is different and there's no walkie talkie and canteen. I appreciate any help. Thanks!
