Holy crap, really!?!? Do you know what company released the sets and single figures (as opposed to the ones that came with the Space Shuttle and Thunderbirds spaceships)? I'd like to check the local toy stores for them. Any idea who might carry them?
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

      Great set.
      And would you believe it?
      They speak French in space.

Search ebay for them so you can see what they look like. I found them in several specialty shops (like one in Pasadena California called the Dinosaur Farm that sells mostly science toys and dinosaur related toys). I've seen them in many smaller indie type toy shops that also sell rubber snakes and that sort of junk.

I've seen them boxed and separate. See links below:

Mini Repro of Colorforms Outer Space Men Alien Figure! - eBay (item 290363951912 end time Nov-25-09 22:01:54 PST)

I got mine for pennies per figure. These ebay prices are very inflated now.

I believe the Demons may be from this set.
This is my favorite vintage toy by the way. Got these for Christmas in 82.

great pic, could you possibly send me a larger image of that? That set looks very familiar, however I know the knights set I did have did not come with the bigger silverish looking ogre

                HEY!

The demons do come from that Dragonriders set.... and I'm betting a few others. The set had a big green dragon, too.

GREAT POST THANKS! Big Lots sold an Alien Attack set back in early 1990s If you can find them in stores now you are doing great because they aren't for sale anywhere that I can find here in the midwest. I want to build an army of them but can't find them cheap enough. The Colorform Aliens have been recast so some figures are hard plastic and others are softer(rarer?)
They often sell loose small Colorform Aliens for $10-20 a set on Ebay.

That Thunderbird reissue thing, I have shots of that in a toy magazine in the 1970s, I think Deiner originally released it.

Saw the Dragonriders set on ebay today for anyone who might be intrested (myself included)
Says its a board game but looks like the set to me.

I was gonna say as much, I know I had those demons in a set from around the same year, but those others monsters as well as the DRFTS box is completely new to me.
