    Crisis on Hanna Barbera's Earths, or Crisis of Super Adventure

    This relates to my thread earlier. I'm not a writer, don't play one on tv either but I gave it a shot... be kind

    Hanna Barbera Heroes
    Space Ghost
    Blue Falcon
    Galaxy Trio-Galaxy Girl, Vaporman, Meteor man
    Birdman/ Falcon 7
    Xandor w Zok
    Kid Comet – Jan from Space Ghost
    Young Sampson
    Shazzan – Nancy and Chuck
    Mighty Mightor
    Frankenstein Jr/Buzz


    Villians
    Morto-Leader
    Zorak
    Sultan of Flame


    Shazzans rings taken by Morto and the Sultan of Flame, taking Nancy hostage.
    Injured Chuck calls Space Ghost who hops on to the rescue. Battle insues gets his butt kicked. Realizing it’s going to take a lot of help, He put out a call to past allies and new friends

    Issue 2
    Orbiting station in Space. Space Ghost costume torn speaks of the dire consequences if Shazzans unlimited power in the hands of Morto and his group.Falcon 7 appears with reports of destruction galaxy wide as Morto’s grip tightens.
    Xandor ever the stratagist suggests a split assault. He and Blue Falcon go after the rings.
    Space Ghost, Galaxy Trio, Birdman, Zok, Mightor will attack Shazzan as a diversion/Delaying tactic.

    Issue 3
    Attack begins, nameless planet in ruin.
    Morto orders Shazzan to conjure various villains from the history of the heroes, to destroy the heroes.
    Frankie Jr is blown to pieces as Buzz runs for cover, the others are beaten back never had a chance.
    Xandor and BF with Chuck make their move, first freeing Nancy, and defeating Zorak and the Sultan before confronting Morto. After a brief battle Shazzan is summoned just in time to witness Jan in invisible mode making a grab for the rings tossed to Chuck and Nancy.Rings together “Shazzan!” Once free an angry Shazzan banishes Morto and his friends and repairs the damage done.

    All go home Happy

    I think there's a LOT of untapped potential as far as these characters go and having them operate in a shared universe.....DC/Time Warner should really get on this and develop some sort of synergy where these characters can be put back in the spotlight.

      Nice storyline, would be great to see it played out in comic form or as a made for DVD movie.

      This ties in to the discussion we had concerning DC buying the Milestone & Archie heroes. They have all those Hanna-Barbera characters to play with, all the Looney Tunes characters, and yet only Scooby-Doo is used and the single Looney Tunes book that plods along. Space Ghost did well a frew years ago, then nothing. Jonny Quest was announced, never happened. Surely both would sell...is there no market anywhere in the world for the Flintstones, Jetsons, Yogi Bear? Should be perfect material for a digest book like Archie does , or a series of small sized graphic novels (like Dark Horse did with Indiana Jones). Even a Showcase tp of the Gold Key adventure stuff would be cool.
