I hope they do a blu-ray. All those prime colors would just explode on a plasma. I bought the series about 10 years ago on Bootleg DVDs taped off of Nick-at-nite reruns from the 90s and the quality is all over the place. It be nice to get some consistency.

Believe it when I see them on the shelves in the store. I know DC is doing all the '66 stuff...but I have my doubts.

Well, I had my doubts we'd ever see it, but I'm beyond happy we're finally going to see this in our (and hopefully Adam West's) lifetime.

I'm only half-joking when I say, making this more accessible to families and modern children could have a cultural effect on our society. Now, children will be able to have this as their Batman, instead of the Inappropriately marketed Bale Batman. With the real Batman, once again in place as a child's role model, the world may be, just a little bit of a better place.

I hope they release the whole series first, in a deluxe set with all the bells and whistles. Unfortunately, the days of truly great DVD/Blu Ray extras seems to be over. But I hope they do put some effort into this and don't just throw it out there like the Flash TV series. I don't want to have to wait for Seasons 2 and 3 either. Here's hoping they hit us fanboys first, then break them up down the road for more casual fans.
