Mego Boxed POTA Treehouse Capture Carry Pole question

    Hello all,

I had 1st Mego boxed Treehouse last about 8-9 yrs, can't remember how long sized Capture Net Carry Pole is.

Last night I made one that's very close it's original, it has slight short and slight over sanded, I threw it away.... I found a new long wood, I can make it as original. I need to know what size it is and how narrow round pole before I'll trimming tip off and brushing it with wood stain, to matches it's original color. Please post pics here for me to see them. I dunno math well, post pic with ruler will helps.

    Thank you for help,

    Pat

Thanks bro! I'll edit bottom pic in my photo shop to adjust it to make looks better. I'll let you know if it's not working well.

I need another pic with ruler at "1" inch back with that round pole so I'll understand it clear.

It is dark.If you buy some stain, buy the Dark Mahogany color and 1 or 2 coats with that, then clear coat, that will match the original.I'll post a better pic of the 1/4 round measurement later.

Thanks for great infor. I took many pics of 2 different sized new poles, one is thin and one is slight large stem.

I'll buying like ya said "buy some stain the Dark Mahogany color and 1 or 2 coats with that, then clear coat". Where it's available at Home Depot or Lowes's Lumber Store?

I'll editing my pics in the photo shop tonight. Thank you for will post a better pic here later, take your time.

                  • This is a pic of 1 inch on a ruler, from left to right side. The blue line is 1/4 of an inch. That is the round size of the pole.

If you are making this from scratch, then thats the measurement you want it to be.They do sell 1/4 inch wooden round rod at most hardware stores though if you want to buy a piece of it,it will save you some time and its pretty cheap.Hope this helps.

Yep,you can get it at either place and you can also get a piece of the 1/4 inch wooden round rod at either store too. Then all you have have to do is cut that at 8 inches, stain and then clear coat and then you are done.
