Have your Mego head cast in Vinyl Like Fleshtone flexible material!!!

Here's the deal: I can cast any head in my secret flexible "Vinyl" fleshtone material. Just like my Six Million dollar man heads. You send me the body that you want the head attached to, I match the flesh pigment, You also send me the mold, I cast it in my material, demold, clean up, drill out and attach to the body, I ship head attached to the body (that will be able to turn) and the mold back to you. You paint it with acrylic paints. Nothing will be recast. If I want a head I will by or trade. I am primarily into 1/6 figures. I thought I would offer this to some of my fellow Mego fans. YOU WILL NOT FIND anyone that can make anything this close to a factory production vinyl head without spending thousands. I hate to burst your bubble, but there are not one, but several companies, like Silpak and BJB, that make commercially available, affordable, flexible urethanes, that cast up and cure to look pretty much exactly like the rotocast vinyl mego heads. I've been working with several of them, in the special FX industry for many years... There's no secret.

That's true Sandy, but how many people around here are using them for heads? Maybe "secret" wasn't the right word, but complex and difficult so that most others couldn't do it would've been better to say. I just know he gets it done and gets it done good:

However it gets done, it needs to get done. I think this is one of the real holy grails of customizing. Those heads are amazing, I'm glad to hear you are soliciting business here, Joe!

This is something I've wanted to see for years! Heads that look Factory made Roto-cast...it's just something that nobody does. That SMDM looks absolutely FRIGGIN' AMAZING!

Just a suggestion, maybe you could clarify this in the listing, as others might be as ignorant as myself regarding these custom Mego scale heads...what is meant by sending the maker the mold?

Ok...Let me splain too yu: If YOU have the Head MOLD in your possession for let's say Taylor from Planet of the Apes. If you want a vinyl like Taylor head, you would send the mold to me at my house via mail. I would make a vinyl like casting for you. Then send you back the head and the mold to you house. Otherwise, If you just send me a head, i have to make a Silicone mold and then cast the head. Can you dig it now? Catch where I'm comin' from?

The only drawback of Joe's heads is that it negate's my usual method of painting a head where I'd use the base flesh color to erase mistakes and even out the eyebrows and such. On Joe's head I actually used toothpicks dipped in alcohol to shape the eyebrows like I wanted them to look but it was worth it because of the dead ringer Mego factory head look at the end.

I was just looking at some of your stuff the other day, although I'm not seeing anything at the moment. That stuff is phenomenal. You have one 1/6 (IIRC) SMDM in particular that blew me away.
