I just received some awesome resin Trek heads and a Space 1999 Dr. Russell head from Dave Mc. The Dr. Russell head (female head) has a short neck stem already on it. How would I go about getting the head to fit onto a standard Mego female body with a neck stem? I think this might have be discussed before, I just can't find the thread. Any advice is greatly appreciated! BTW, these resin casts are outstanding. There's not a pinhole or rough area on them. Great work Dave!

Mike,
The female heads Paul casts and I sell, usually come with the pour stem attached to the neck. If you're using a standard Mego body, you cut that stem off with a dremel, then drill a hole in the bottom of the head. If you are using one of the CTVT female bodies with the hole in the torso, then you can use a dremel and shape that pour spout into a neck that can fit that body as well, which is why it's left on.
Let me know if you think you will have trouble with this and we can work something out. -

Well, Dremel, the brand name can be pricey, but there are all kinds of $20 knock off brands that work just as well. That's not too terrible, and usually they take dremel brand bits.Comment

I've been making a lot of my own female heads recently and have been buying a lot of neckless CTVT female bodies because it's a lot easier to sculpt a neck plug than drill a hole in the head.Comment

I've got a Sandra and a Peggy and didn't notice any difference in the bodies. The only female CTVT that I've seen that's different is Kelly Bundy, which just has the hip shoulder and neck articulation. I'll take another look at them tonight and see if I can spot anything.Comment
