Exactly what El Roboto said - and add to that lab testing is now taking 3 weeks
instead of 3 days.

Scotty and the Keeper are on the water, Uhura and Mugato are right in line
behind them, with the Apes too! This fall will be re-mego crazy.

Someday I will write up the backstory of all this - if I survive it.

Our factory is really good at what they do... they work other big companies figures as well, so if somebody's gettin pushed back? you guessed it... it's us... small 'taters. I think we may see it ease up for us at least, as we planned pretty far into the future... We'll see soon enough

I hate to say it, but this might be worse than any of the CTVT delays I remember. My customer service rep emailed me yesterday about the changes as well.

yessssir. This is why I do not pre-order anymore...the ole blood pressure can't take it LOL.

This is most depressing. I guess there's no reason to hold onto the Money I've been hording for these...I guess I'll go spend it on the Custom supplies I need.

I think a lot of factors are going into this delay. All of them China related. I just heard on NPR a few days ago that the Chinese government are ordering factories to close for the duration of the Olympics to improve air quality. The shutdown has already started. Now add in the toy safety scare from the past year and the recent earthquake. Divide these factors by the fact that EMCE is not a huge cash cow like Hasbro etc. and the answer looks something like this:

Scotty-Keeper delivery + China's chronic problems / No one is getting rich off this = Don't hold your breath waiting for the boat to arrive

I have had these ordered and paid for since Feb. Perhaps Doc Mego could shed some light on this? I can only hope that Diamond did this to cover themselves.

I bet we won't even see Sulu, Gorn, Cheron, and Checov until Spring '09, early summer '09...
It will be almost SEPTEMBER, if this date even holds true, and we havn't seen one single '08 shipment release yet.
