If all you want is the repro Cap, I'll take all the extras off your hand for a fair price.

Part of me really wants to dig these, but something is holding me back. Maybe it's simply the deluge of other offerings (albeit a much-welcomed deluge of course) and my interests are piqued elsewhere? I'm just not quite "there" with these.

Glad to see that they have generated a great deal of interest though.

The more figures, the merrier...I always say.
Same here. You can't tell in these photos but the stitching on both Cap figures looks terrible. Hopefully it will look better on release, if not I'll pass.

The two 'new' figures look much better in this set than in the Spidey set. Still, once you invest another $10-25 shipped for 2 extra bodies, you are up to $80-105 for a Mego repro figure and 2 loose ones. That's versus $75-85 for three CARDED figures from FTC.

I completely agree. It's a great looking figure and I love all these great choices.

But I'm not completely sold. It's probably just the price point. But I know that those were the constraints of the deal.

But it's a spectacular figure. Might have to pony up for it.

Oh yes, It is a great time to be a Mego fan! I do believe that I must have the Cap set! I will get Spiderman too, mostly for the Peter Parker set. I am not sure I care about the circle spider suit (would rather have regular) or the modern Spiderman (would rather it not have boots). I can't see any reason to complain about the Cap set, I think it looks pretty near perfect!

Very impressed with the Cap set! Love that there's the very distinct retro version and upgrade.

Though, I'm a little confused by Rogers' tan 'leg-warmers'...
