Will these new Marvel sets FINALLY allow a Ferrigno Hulk?

Paul, I really hope you and Diamond can right this wrong. It is an absolute travesty that in almost 40 years not a single Hulk toy has ever been released in the likeness of Lou Ferrigno.

That would be a fun, but I doubt that idea will find traction unless FTC gets a hold of the Marvel license. That is my hope.

Yep, Ferrigno deserves his action figure!

See, I think the 12" Hulk is supposed to be Ferrigno-like. To me it's as close to Lou as the Wonder Woman was to Linda Carter and almost as close as the 12" superman is to Reeve. I think the Hulk box mentioned as seen on TV.

Ooh with a Bill Bixby alter ego and cool gamma radiation chair thingy so he could become the Hulk! I spent the whole show as a kid just begging for someone to make him angry.

...for a bit of inspiration...here's a Photoshop adaptation I did from the prototype head, were it painted and resculpted a bit.

You could always submit the question to Ask DST, since DSTChuck answers all questions submitted. He'd be brutally honest about the feasibility of and interest level in pursuing a classic Hulk TV license and adding it to what we currently have.

In 1977 Lou Ferrigno and Bill Bixby made me a Hulk fan for life with the Incredible Hulk TV movie which I watched on Netflix last night! I saw Lou in person at 2013 St Louis Comic Con! I cannot believe there has never been a Ferrigno Hulk figure! Now would be perfect time for DST/EMCE to go after TV Hulk license! We also need Bixby David Banner and even Jack Colvin Jack McGhee! "Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry!" Classic line!

A Hulk figure with a likeness of Ferrigno? Now THAT would take my $80 from me! I hope it can happen!

Doc had stated at Mego Meet that Mattel had no interest in doing a Hulk set "AT THIS TIME", let's hope that is not the case and they change their minds and come to their senses, but It does work into the format that they are using and with a couple of variants, 1 original Mego Hulk, 1 Bruce Banner Bill Bixby or Mark Rufalo Likeness, and 1 Lou Ferrigno or Marvel Avengers Hulk.

Personally I would be in for both sets!!!
