Seems like there is a sudden boom of interest in Apes, even on ebay. If a few NEW charcters were thrown into the mix, it could be worth while. Since original Apes(save a few rare peices) were never that pricey, most folks who liked them already had them. BUT, a few choice original Apes/Humans might be just what is needed to really light a fire under this line.

The ever talented Jessica made an astronaut suit that is very detailed. When Emce returns to the POTA it might be worth consulting her.

Not in this day and age.

It almost worked for ahi. Who made Astro-apes? Did they have any legal issues? How about Tong action apeman?
While that would be really awesome (SANA flightsuits, Militant Blond Survivalist Guy & His Space Monkey Militia, etc) the Toy world is pretty litigious.

It's probably much easier for a churn and burn company that did concept bootlegging as a business model to fire off some product, drop it after C&D and never look back. The EMCE crew also have the goodwill and trust of future license holders to consider so they've got to be pretty clear-cut about it.

I'm sure a generic "Outer Space Aliens" line would be just as sweet, but equally impossible to market to brick & mortar.

C'mon. We just need one Taylor and Gorilla that looks like it's from the movie.

Great to hear you say you will revisit Apes one day Paul. There have been many awesome Re-Mego lines pop up in the last few years and I love and collect many of them but my top two, Star Trek and POTA, are in serious need of completing the original Mego characters. Three Trek and 6 Apes to go.
