I've got them all. I was too "old" for Megos...didn't even know about them...but now that I'm in my 50's I get to collect the next best thing. -
I have them all that I've found and I searched high and low but most were not bought at TRU. I still need the last wave. Might just order them.Leave a comment:

I may be on the wrong part of the forum since (don't hit me please!) I never much liked comic book heros besides Buck Rodgers, Flash Gordon and Star Trek. I have Kirk, Spock, Bones, Sulu and an Andorian - and crapped out vintage "bridge" without a handle and missing everything.
I'm so glad EMCE is making these dolls again! I could never quite bring myself to buy the playmates 10 inch ones, and the only real Mego one I ever had was a pantsless Spock. (also the first sewing I ever did trying to make him some black pants...) But the boy next door had the bridge and the crew figures. We would go into the woods out back, beam them down to explore the strange wildlife, and mushroomy man eating plants... then back up to do battle with Klingon warships... "Tilt the box! fire Photon beams! Knock thatnon heroes was what made Mego a stand out...many of my Fav Megos are not superheroes come on they made The Waltons nobody would even dare do that...that's how great they were......

I have GL, Luthor and Sinestro, No Desire to collect them all nor do I want to buy them on line takes away the FUN of finding them in the stores I like to pick my figures.....nor will I buy them in comic shops for 30 bucks that's robbery.
Green Lantern was the Mego I always wanted as a Kid anyway so I'm a happy camper with himLeave a comment:

I was originally going to buy, one set carded, and the other one loose, but gave up on the idea, and just keep one carded from each wave(basically one Mego already did) for the art, and the rest FREE !!!. Got them all, apart from wave 4Leave a comment:

Got Green Arrow from MattyCollector.com
Wave 1 from TRU.
Wave 2 from Amazon.
Wave 3 from Big Bad Toy Store.
Wave 4 is sitting in my pile of loot at BBTS.
Want Guy Gardner and John Stewart from MattyCollector.com
Also have one of each EMCE Star Trek figure including Khan.
Both EMCE Monsters.
Twilght Zone Gremlin.
Wave 2 Lost figures on preorder with BBTS.
I have seen RetroAction Heroes waves 1-3 at TRU. But distribution, high gas prices, and the value of my time have caused me to drop TRU as a real option to get these figures.Leave a comment:

Sorry, only two Aquamen, for my Mego (and FC) Johnny Storm customs.
Waiting on Marvel to get on the retro Mego bandwagon, and focusing on the C/A Spidey and Cap sets..

I have all of them released to date. I switched bodies for Wave 1 and 2 but left wave 3 alone. Wave 4 is on it's way and I'll be passing on the Matty GL ones due to lack of interest. Can't wait for wave 5!!Leave a comment:

From the responses here, it sounds like they would sell more of these figures if people could find them in the stores. I know that I would rather buy them in person.
So Wave 3 has been in Toys R Us?!?!Leave a comment:

I'm doubled on Wave 1, one set of Wave 2 and Wave 3. Plus one extra of the Flash. I also have four boxed Green Arrows. With space becoming a premium with everything I collect, I'm thinking about the inevitable task of selling off duplicates, not only of this line but any others. Which means I'll be selling a lot of stuff. I'll be picking up the Matty Lanterns when they come out and Wave 4 some time soon. I'm currently saddled with some expense that takes priority over my collecting, so I probably won't be back into the normal swing of things until later this spring. I do not go into TRU stores much these days because their not reliable as a retailer and gas is too darn expensive to cruise around looking for something that is likely not there anyway. Cheaper to order online and get them all at once. The immediate gratification button beats hoofing it.Leave a comment:

Superman, Lex Luthor, Batman & Two Face. All bought from TRU.
And...all bodies replaced with the new 'lighter skin' Castaway bodies while my Bats actually is sporting a CTVT Bruce head. I find the skin tone on the Mattel Bruce is too light. Oh, and I've replaced Supes & Bats emblem with cloth versions I made, as well.Leave a comment:

I have everyone that has been released so far. Wave 1 I purchased @ Toys'r'Us in the beginning. Green Arrow I got directly from Matty.com. Wave 2 was from my local comic book store. Wave 3: Amok Time (included WW, Cheeta & Flash on the wrong cards). Wave 4 I found 3 of the 4 on Ebay and Shazam! from my local cbs.
Golly I sure do dig these retro figs!Leave a comment:
