Ok, Diamond had Emce make these Monsters and Wolfman and Frankenstein are Wave 2 of three and they are 8" Mego size?

How come they are not on Drmego.com or Diamond Select's website?

And these bodies are better than Trek and Superheroes and could be used on those too?

    Just asking.

I will order from Diamond at some point. The 2-3 times I've had money to go order from them the stuff I wanted was on their site but said to find a dealer. I know I'm slow. I hope to fix this next year.

P.S. On an unrelated note, this is my 1100th post! Woot! I'm in the 1100 club.

These are 8" tall so they will fit with my Trek crew and Superheroes?

    OK. Who sells these again?

OK, I see them at Entertainment Earth. Who makes them? Thanks in advance.

I have to admit that I am not into monsters, but from all of the raves here at the museum, I am definitely going to get myself a Wolfman for Xmas.

    Is Dracula available?

Those are so friggin awesome its UNREAL!!

Bodies with SCREWS?!? GENIUS! They look STURDY as all hell to boot...

I NEED a set of these. Maybe if they sell well enough we will get Metaluna Mutant, the CREATURE, Moleman, Mr. Hyde, etc!!

Great stuff - I'd LOVE to see these Monsters lining the store shelves at places like WalMart - I know that younger kids these days are into more 'techie' and 'anime' types of things, but I bet if the MAJOR retailers filled their shelves with Mego-styled figures like these the tides might turn. I have many nieces and nephews, several in the 5-9 bracket, and there isnt ONE of them thats not hooked by at least ONE of the following: Monsters, Heroes, Fantasy, Twilight Zone, Zombies, Venture Bros., Sci-Fi, etc..

I just got mine last night from my local CS. I still have an order coming from Amok time. These figures are great! I love the new bodies. The arms do not get sucked in the shoulders, The range of motion is improved. The sculpts are great. The clothes are well done, I like the fur suit under The Wolfman. Awesome job all around! Are these new bodies going to be available from the Doc on his site?

Thumbs up on the monsters. The best head sculpts to date for the classic Universal series.

All kidding aside about how long it's teken for me to get my monsters...:-)

We're really proud of how these came out. From the sculpts to the protoypes and then finally to execution, it's just been a lot of fun.

I gotta say for the record, that Diamond has been with us since the beginning and it's gone from "when will they fire us" paranoia (on my part, anyway) to a true meeting-of-the-minds partnership. They not only know toys, but they know the collector market itself so well and their ability to source and produce is just amazing. As the collector business contracts in this post-recession economy, they are one of the few survivors who still stand strong and do great work.

I mean, look at the friggin' Tricorders they're producing...Christ, the only thing they don't do is actually take alien atmosphere readings.

Anyway, buy more stuff from them so they can get more licenses and we can keep working with them. They're awesome people.
