It started on Dec. 23rd and was sold out a week after New Years.

I'm curious if that's true. Demand has been high on ebay, so I don't think many folks got the word they were around the first time. So now that there's an awareness the figure exists, I wonder if more people were paying attention and were ready to snag this one. Or if more 'scalpers' will buy more seeing dollar signs in how sales went on the first run.

Could be, but I think most people here already have one. But we'll see how succesful he is outside the community. The other 4 seem to be popular, but those are readily available at TRU, no shipping costs. And a lot of those are probably impulse buys.
But we'll see, I hope they sell well again.

I was starting to get a little nervous there for a while, but my place in the queue finally came up at around 12:05. This was my first time ordering directly from MattyCollector, and all I have to say is thank goodness I'm not into the MOTU figures. That must be a tension-filled experience.
