Yep but I NEVER liked the way MArshall did the nose. Neal and Garcia Lopez do it right.

Then there are the guys like me.

I was a lil kid same time as you but didn't read comics all that much.

So the ONLY Joker I saw repetitively was the iconic one with the cane
or a variation of it....I guess that was the one given the liscenced companies
    for a style guide...I dunno.

And I think that was Neal Adams' if I'm not mistaken

Whatever, the case...no offense to the hardcore comic readers but
I hope they just dust off the 1978 (give or take) style guide
they used to give out back then to the people making DC STUFF,
and have MATTEL draw their images from that.

If possible the classic blue Neal Adams with long ears would be perfect. I think the MM member "The Bat" had one that was pretty close. That baby ought to be used as a reference for EMCE. That is how I like my Batman.

He used my good friend Wes's plastic gloves and cut them up and turned them into gauntlets and wrapped them around a blue hand I think it was. Looked smooth.

That is how it should be done. No oven mitts !!!

LONG! I prefered short when I was a kid but I REALLY want them long on the Matellego! Classic "tubes" utility belt! Blue/grey!

    Great Aparo Pic BTW...good example.

As far as the "ears", Mattel has already shown evidence that they want to be more observant of the comic characters images than Mego
was...soo...yeah: long ears are pretty much a given, eh?

    Batman: Long Ears or Short?

    Which would you prefer...

    Classic short eared Mego style.

or something a bit more Dark Knight Detective?

    Belt:

    Classic streamlined tubes?

    or poaches?

Logo: Plain black bat? or yellow circle bat?

    Cape: Long or Short?

Colour: Dark and Shiny Blue? or Four Colour Comic Book Blue? or Black?

Working...
