As far as the Joker head sculpt is concerned, I actually like the original. I would like to see them work off of the original and maybe make subtle changes like they did with Green Arrow in order to get around the artist infringement thing. I hope they try and stay with the same basic head sculpts for all the original characters (excluding Batman- he needs long ears) with only small tweaks.

Even though I love the screen print costume of the original because of the nostalgia, I would like to see a seperate pants/ vest / coat look.

Hey, I just had this discussion with almitysufx, and I told him I LOVED my
MEGO Batman and would have loved a replica of him---but alas this is not a
replica line, so AFAIC the floodgates have been opened to make these look
more "comicy" and less "playtoyey". GO for it MATTEL

No pouch utility belts please! Gotta have the tubes utility belt!!!!!! BLUE/GREY is a must with long cape!! We finally got back to it after all these years of the all black and the grey/black costumes!! Keep it classic '70s!! At least in the first version!

    Neal Adams works for me!!

One thing I would like to see on the Joker. Real pants, shirt and vest. Not just a screen printed leotard.

    Ditto Penguin.

As much as I love Neal Adams Joker on the page, I think it might be too much of a caricature to translate as a Mego-like head. Would it feel "Mego-ey" next to the other figures?

I know. I know. Eventually, I'll have to say that I've
    typed "only Bronze Age" enough

That aside. I can understand if a year or two
down the road MATTEL dabbles with newer looks/variant looks
for their retro line---but man it'd be cool to get MANY
characters that look as if they jumped off the comicbook pages
and style guides of 1973-1982 or whenever it was
Mego was pumping out the WGSHs
