Now I am really excited about this figure again. The legs and boots really had me down. And now that I now for sure that the glove on the arrow turns, I am fine with the bow.

Mine is due on the 5th. Can't wait!

Hi pmwasson, when you remove the feet do you just hold it under hot tap water for a few minutes or use boiling water?

When you talk about removing the neck post/plug... is this a removable part, or was this like you going in with a dremel?
    Thanks.

Yes the neck post is a separate piece. Its attached to a disc that just floats around the neck cavity. I had to kind of mangle it to get it out. I don't think its needed and gets in the way for vintage heads.

You can see the mangled piece to the right of the chest in this picture:

Thanks for the shot in the originalish boots! Looks better, but now I am thinking my recipe will be...

Cast-A-Way body (so he can have the swivel biceps)
Green Cast-A-Way boots (they fit MUCH better than Mattel's, at least Capt. Action's do, and the color and rubber style looks like it would match the figure better than Mego boots)
Green Cast-A-Way gripper hands (only thing that sucks there, is they don't come with green wrist pegs. I wonder if the Mattel hands will fit a Cast-A-Way body? They look like they might)

How about a shot of him with the Mego body, in Mego boots rather than those clunky new ones? Have any Cast-A-Way boots you can try on him?

Both the hands and feet are very easy to remove. Just stick them in hot water for a few seconds.

I can't wait to get the rest of wave 1 for customizing.
