Anything coming up/announced?

I was thinking that maybe Paul still has something going with Diamond. Diamond has a lot of licensed properties right now. Also with Marty sorta giving his nod to EMCE, he might be advising on proprties to go get. Diamond appears to have a Back To The Future license. I'd love to see 8" figures Of Marty, Doc, Biff, George. Can you believe that in 24 years since BTTF Part 1, other than the Mini Mates there has been No figures made ? Even with the short lived animated series no figures were made except Mcdonald's Happy Meal toys. These are long over due.

Second the Back to the Future set! Marty would have to be on a teen titan body though, given Michael J Fox's relative height.

I can believe it, my birthday is Oct. 26th. The night Marty went back to 1955 and I had already graduated from high school.

I wouldn't mind if EMCE branched out into the other Star Trek series - Next Generation, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise. Who wouldn't want a Picard for their shelf, huh? Or a Seven of Nine? And we need Odo!!!

No new Treks?

I would be truly sorry to not see the line completed with the Neptunian & Talos, especially when they could be paired with needed crew members Chapel & Rand.


Besides, the Talos would allow Paul to add TT/Lion Rock bodies to his repro roster, and we need 'em!

LOL Too Funny. I am sure Paul has some great things in the works. After all he did say that 2009 was looking really good for EMCE so I can only interpret that has he has some good deals / licenses in place.

The thought of an upcoming announcement might have some goods and bads.

Goods meaning, something new that hopefully will be cool ...

Bads meaning, it sounds like the end of Trek ... because Treks would not need to be announced.

They could announce a new store exclusive Trek, like with Kahn, I suppose.

For what it's worth, Docs web-site now has a prominent San diego Comiccon plug on the main page. Could that be a hint as to when and where the big announcement will happen!!??

Doc already stated in one of the Toy Fair threads that EMCE is on their own time schedual to produce figures and were holding off any new announcments because of the new product testing going on and the way the economy is. He said sometime late spring he will have '09's announcment up, but it will be worth our wait and be big.
