Your welcome Dana. I am glad that I could clarify that for you and get your thread back on track again.

I'm now wondering if Doc's swivel-arm, buff body is a better choice for my Warduke custom (who needs a more buff torso than the normal 8 inch Mego-esque body)...Any thoughts?

Dana, I think that the original topic went a stray. You were inquiring about a shorter body and as the thread went on it some how grew a couple of inches.

I do not know what has got into CTVT with their price increase on their bodies and other stuff. Maybe they are trying to help pay for the out rageous licensing fee they paid Gene. IF that is the case they are certainly going about it the wrong way.

So, I got a CTVT 6 inch body and it's great. I ended up going with Doc Mego for the 5 inch kid bodies, though (his price was just slightly lower)...Doc's bodies are fantastic too.

I'm very happy with both smaller bodies.

given our choices (Drmego, Zica, Castaways, CTVT) they are the lesser quality bodies. They seem to be inferior materials and manufactured "quicker".
    But, they are cheap.
Any CTVT body should probably be restrung to relieve the stress and "I gotta pee" stance. Maybe a little film of glue in the hip joints to help articulation afterwards.

See, I go and say that and whammo one of my ctvt bodies that I am about to use for a custom has a forearm shatter. It was a kid body.

    Hmmmm....

I've got a few of both, and they're not bad. The kid ones needed a bit of flash scraped, but they're usable.

LOL! I hear you...Some of my Space:1999 figures have the "I've really gotta go" stance. Thank you, Thunderbolt.
