The movies share a handful of actors, but only Luther is called Luther in both movies.

I just got word that these bodies are super articulated ala Medicom figures.

    That's Luther.
    Thanks, ABMAC!

Oh, and I never would have recognized Michael Beck with the white hair! Thanks for labelling that photo!

Instead of going out of his mind, Mike wedged himself into the center of his:

    mi(MIKE)nd

I've become an expert at translating from Mike to English.

I really like the movie, my dad's best friend only owned it and Airplane! when VCRs were pretty new. Everytime they'd get together until the wee hours I'd watch both movies over and over. At the next megomeet, I'd be happy to reenact either of them.

Apparently Mezco plan on using this standard body for various licenses. They have announced they have the rights to the show Heroes, and I hope that those figures will be this style. Mezco works in different styles and scales though, so who knows.

David Patrick Kelly (Luther) is one of my alltime favorite actors
His role in FLIRTING WITH DISASTER is his best I think
Never seen the WARRIORS, but I've been getting by on 48 HRS, F.W.D. and DREAMSCAPE
pretty well without having seen it----maybe I'll break down and buy it on DVD in the
    upcoming years
Cool figures----realistic jeans would probably be pretty sweet for some customizers

And it makes sense since they are both directed by Walter Hill.

According to figures.com, there will be 2 more figures in series one that they have yet to announce. Also that series one will be followed by a series two.

Just for fun, here is a picture of me with Brian Tyler (Snow) at the Chiller Theatre con. in Jersey last Oct....

    Michael Beck (Swan)

    Roger Hill (Cyrus)

    Also in attendance were...

    David Harris (Cochise)
    Dorsey Wright (Cleon)
    Terry Michos (Vermin)
    Deborah Van Valkenburgh (Mercy)
Apache Ramos (Orphan with the afro)
Irwin Keyes (Cop who clubbed Ajax)

They were all extremely nice, and it was very surreal seeing them all in the same room so many years later.

It was a decent movie, not great. I guess I'm more critical because as a teacher I hate movies that promote gangs.
