Anybody else obsessively checking Big Lots?

There are still none within 100 miles of where I live. Frustrating—looks like eBay for me.Leave a comment:

Well, my dad gifted me Batman and Robin, so I'm only in want of a Joker.
I do hope more ship. I would like to get a display box.Leave a comment:

Sunday I only had $25 cash on me (waiting for new bank card that came in on Monday) and found 2 of each figure. So I bought one Batman. Went back today and somebody bought them all. I was NOT happy about that.Leave a comment:

thanks for providing the SKU, that was a big help.
My local BigLots didn't have them, but the manager was kind enough to check their system and direct me to another store that did.
Was able to snatch a Superman today, which was the only one that I wanted.
Much appreciated,
Cheers-Leave a comment:

Of the four, I really think the Joker is the weakest.
Superman was an easy redeco too, but it is obvious Batman and Robin got the most love. I daresay Robin is the best of the four at least in terms of effort. Batman loses points for the oven mitts. They REALLY need to stop using those. Had Mego and WGSH continued, I am certain they eventually would've given us sewn cuffs and colored hands.
Superman is my clear favorite, but he didn't need much to look great. There's a reason his suit didn't have too many revisions over the years. It's iconic. But the Fleischer look is a striking variation of the tried and true.Leave a comment:

So I stopped by my local Big Lots today, and again they did not have them. I asked one of the employees and showed them the SKU, and she said they weren't getting them, had checked yesterday for someone else and had found out only 2 of the Big Lots in the Dayton/Springfield market (which consists of somewhere between 8 and 10 stores) were actually getting them and each was only getting the one shipment lot of 9 figures. The closest to me is about a 40 minute drive, and I am not sure I will make a trip just to get it, but if you are in the Dayton/Springfield market, it's the Trotwood and Huber Heights stores that are getting them.

I used the sku# and checked with my local Big Lots and no store has any of these within 100 miles. I live in podunk Alabama so I’m used to bad distribution on toy exclusives, but it’s still disappointing.Leave a comment:

Here you go. Not sure why it’s sideways…it isn’t on my comp.

I really like that we all have different tastes. For me, the 66 Batman looks were a pass, but the Fleischer Superman was a must have!
If the display box had character art on it, I would've tried to acquire it, but being blank white, I decided it wasn't something I needed.
I hope they turn up, bro. They ARE popping up in this general area tho, so I'm hoping you see them soon!
You and I go way back. I always like seeing you thrive! And even though my collecting is going in new directions, I am a DC fan for life.Leave a comment:

Checked the lone Big Lots in this area for these today for the first time and lucked out. They were in the holiday toy section up front in the store. There was only a Joker missing from the case of nine. I grabbed Batman, Robin, and the remaining Joker. Not really interested in that Superman. They also let me have the display box.
