I would love to see a variant Cushing dressed as Sherlock Holmes from the Hammer version of Hound of the Baskervilles, I guess it would qualify? or maybe Cushing dressed in his safari clothes from the Mummy. -
I love my 'Hammer Van Helsing' Action Figure!
Thanks, Mego!

^They're all doomed. The man can make a cross out of candlesticks, and even the blades of a windmill!!!

Just got mine; he's great! Is the current Van Helsing the same as the next one, except for a different accessory?Leave a comment:

Anyway, I feel your anguish on having to wait, but it'll all be worth it when he arrives. Just a really superb job by Mego.Leave a comment:

It's killing me that I don't have my Van Helsing and Robin yet. I know that's not a real problem to complain about...but I REALLY want those two in particular!

Just got my Van Helsing figure, and it’s my favorite figure so far. Head sculpt is great (maybe the best so far), paint apps are clean, soft goods are excellent, and just an all-around great figure. Homerun by Mego.Leave a comment:

Yes, a fabulous actor. In addition to being the definitive Baron Frankenstein/Van Helsing, he was also an excellent Sherlock Holmes. Loved the Hammer Hound of the Baskervilles. He also took on the role as Holmes in five episodes from the BBC 1968 TV series, with Nigel Stock as Dr. Watson, as well as the 1984 TV film, The Masks of Death, with John Mills as Dr. Watson.Leave a comment:

I think the chin is just fine for a younger Cushing. His features got much sharper as he got older, and frankly skeletal after his wife's death, when he was just basically working to stay alive, and temporary forget his grief.
I am beyond excited for these Cushing figures! My favorite horror actor, hands down.

I mentioned the sideburns in another forum as indicative to Baron Frankenstein not Dr. Van Helsing and someone from Mego posted that they will be scaling back the sideburns, so guessing they are doing both characters.Leave a comment:
