I'll be interested to see if they go with a new sculpt or repurpose the 9" one. I was hoping for a 14" version for a photo op with new Superman, but it's not like I don't have a zillion original 8" Superman figures for the same purpose.

Ali is a great choice! I had the original Mego as a kid, I've always wanted to replace it but it ain't cheap. A sports line like the Rock Icon line would be cool.
I might get a Joe Montana figure! How about a 2 pack with Jerry Rice!

Yeah, this does seem like logical choice. I would think they'll do 14 like nameth. That would display well with nametag and superman or alone. 8 inch two packs with other boxers would be my vote though.

Yea he could go either way really. I was just thinking 14 inches like the other celebrity athlete figure in the line. But Mego has never let a little thing like logic or consistency get in its way.

I guess a fourteen inch Ali would go well with the Superman of the same size. That changes my thinking on this figure. I wonder when we will get information on what size it actually is.
