Why is everything here sort of "quiet and boring" here lately?

For me, there's been a series of Mego related disappointments which culminated with the one-two punch of WGSH Wave 18 and the Big Lots fiasco. As such, I haven't really been inspired to continue being involved in the "social" aspect of Mego collecting. I also fully realize that these are my issues and no-one else's, which is why I'm not posting a detailed, point-by-point list as it would most certainly come across as overtly negative (which is not my intention).

Could you please elaborate on that? Are they showing up in places other than Big Lots? I've never seen one in the wild. Thanks!

I like them! I haven't had any problems with the joints. I was very careful with them, though. The two that have arrived exceeded my expectations. I don't see two face yet. I hope it's coming

I'm getting them from Amazon. I got Brainiac and Deadman so far. Dr Fate is supposed to come at the end of the month. Ditto for Firestorm.

I feel pretty hyped now that they are here in Canada. I will get Firestorm, Deadman, and Dr Fate. I didn't get any of the FTC figures at all, so I'm happy for these. I'm not seeing Two-Face here yet, and I'm excited for him. The uniform for Red Tornado has me thinking he might be a pass, unless he goes on sale.

Dr Fate, Two-Face & Firestorm look like home runs. Nightwing looks dull, Reddy looks cheap and I need to look at Bizzaro. He doesn't look bad in pictures. I got a bit of a break on Deadman. I had an amazon gift card I forgot about.

I can't speak for others here, but for me the fact that I already have the Figures toys versions is like wow I have more of the same charectors.
As a collector I bought them ,but Braniac is the only one I care about. I have no hope for new DC charectors when they are going to release the same stuff . A good Hawkman , Hawkgirl , Elongated man ,and Zatanna would shakes things up

I found the forums very quiet since the redesign but there isn't a ton to talk about. I'm getting my first Mego in a while (Brainiac) in a couple days and that's because he is the only one available to me right now.

Why not just make Repto? Does Hasbro actually own a design created by Mego?

My Wal-Mart hasn't gotten any new Mego in yet but does have a spot on the wall for them.

FTC hasn't put out any the ng new and Mego just copied what FTC put out. We went with so much new merchandise and now we are hitting that slump again.

Still wandering how much longer is it going to be till Mego releases a 8 inch Lex Luthor and Zod? It's been since the 70's and still the obvious choose in the 50th anniversary figures keep getting passed up.
