New FTC Wonder Woman, Hippolyta, and Nubia?

Look, when you send 12" figures to China and ask for a rescale, and these are what's produced, I'd say either production or communication needs re-examined. Only Steve is tolerable. It's like FTC is flushing their capital $$.

I may selectively support them, but I will never understand them. For example, they made an awful Firestorm but turned around and made a nice Parademon with a costume pattern that would have served Firestorm well.

Hippolyta is the least bad of the female figures. I’d like to see one of our talented painting wizards repaint these heads and see if they can replicate the old Mego look.

Well if the FTC bun was lower and had "makeup" along with the dark shades this may have turned out better.

These people need to fire their sculptor, on account of these being the ugliest action figures in existence. The lips are too pale, and the expressions on all four faces makes the original Mego figure sculpts look like masterpieces by Michelangelo!

I am not about to shell out my money for this stuff!

They're here!

Well, they're out, and definitely the 8" versions of the 1977 12" line. They are a curious choice for production, but they don't look awful - except for Evil Devil Spawn Forehead Bigger Than Face Diana Prince, whose glasses hopefully mitigate the problem.

Waiting for Nubia.....once she appears, I will likely buy the line out of slavish devotion to the original line (which is already about to be on display in the toy basement!)
