Ay yi yi. I ordered a Filmation Batman (a beautiful figure, BTW) and it arrived with a broken knee joint. I returned it with a letter requesting an exchange, and I promptly received...the exact same broken figure. There appears to be two faces of FTC customer service...one is terrific and responsive, one either completely oblivious or profoundly resentful. Trying to figure out how to respond...

My biggest issue is i am not really a fan of those glove arms and they fall off. I feel like
the figure itself is missing lower arms.
The quality stories I would share come from way back to the Space 1999 line with big heads
unusual texture that not at all stay on the body.
If you mean the plug-in hero gloves, heat up the arm, pull the pegs out a little, and the gloves stay on fine. The factory pushed the pegs too far in for the gloves to fully plug into them.

My dad reattached the arm, but I have to do something about Superman's bands. When I first got the new body, I saw no signs of the bands being too tight, but now the torso being slightly turned... was the body always like that and I just don't remember?

The arm came off the hook. But this is about Superman's bands being too tight, no?

of course, this is all assuming it was the band that broke, and not just the arm coming off the hook or a hip pin breaking

a lot cheaper too. you then just attach one end to the hip hook, and pull it through to connect the other end to the arm hook, opposite side of body

you can also get replacement rubber bands to rebuild them. DR Mego I believe sells them. not sure about FTC/CTVT. do a search on youtube, there are plenty of videos giving tutorials on repair

Dad was able to fix Birdman, proving that he is the greatest figure in the repertoire. How do I restring it? I don't think I have string elastic...

your Superman likely just has the bands too tight and so the pelvis twists and it appears the legs are different lengths. all 3 figures sound like they need to be restrung. it is easy to do with some string elastic. I believe there are tutorials on the MM or you can probably find one on youtube
