Hey Paul just curious do the Robin "R" insignias look like they will fit on the sides of the gas tank?
Was hoping they were slightly bigger to put on the Tail Fin to mimic the classic Robin Cycle by Garcia-Lopez.
That red one all in all is nice.
Hopefully they will still part them out on CTVT without the packaging like they did the Vans......

I never had an original Mego Batcycle, so I'm curious, how does the side car come off? I tried pulling it straight, but I didn't pull too hard as I didn't want to break it.Leave a comment:

I got mine today, and they are great!
It comes without the stickers applied. Its made of a nice hard, sturdy, shiny plastic. It feels well put together.
They give you lots of stickers and not only for Batman, but for Robin and Batgirl also:
I also got a red one, which is really striking.
The parts that are red on the black Batcycle (seat and tail-pipes) are still red on the red one which gives it a uniform color that is cool.
One thing that is nice is that the different colors come in different color boxes. They could have cheaped out and use the same box for all three.
I'm hoping to make some stickers to turn the black one into the '66 Batcycle:

The stickers were on both of the Batmobiles and the Batcycle I had as a kid.Leave a comment:

If a new sticker ends up crooked, keep some rubber cement thinner nearby. The solvent used to be advertised in the toy community as a good way to remove price stickers from packages (softens the adhesive on the back, making the paper easier to quickly remove, with minimal destruction to the glazed cardboards). Should be a cinch on the vehicles' plastic. My only warning is I don't rub the sticker too hard:Sometimes the thinner can reduce the brightness of reds,or some of the other inks/colours.Leave a comment:

On alot of the vintage mego vehicles, the stickers were already attached. Unfortunately, they were not always straight. My batmobile side stickers (the batman logo) were pretty crooked. For that reason, I would rather apply the stickers myself.
On the original the Star Trek Playset, however, you had to attach the stickers yourself, which made putting the transporter effect stickers on the spinning transporter chamber a bit challenging.Leave a comment:

Glad to know that stickers are not already attached---will make my Ghost Rider bike easier to doLeave a comment:

Yes, mine arrived today and I applied the stickers.
I was very nervous about it because you could easily screw up a $50.00 Batmobile if you put them on crooked.
That's why I was wondering about the original Mego version.
I can't picture doing a neat job of putting these stickers on as an 8 year old.
Unless, I had an adult do it for me.Leave a comment:

As a kid, I had the black Batmobile and the Blue Batcycle. I plan to get the black Batmobile and black Batcycles for Batman 1966.
Definitely getting the blue Batmobile and blue Batcycles for the Super Friends.
And the red Batcyles to represent the Filmation toons. Don't plan to get the red Batmobile, unless it's for the Universe of Evil figures.
That's my future planLeave a comment:
