Absolutely. It's shameful, actually. I can only say, personally, if I'd been responsible for presenting to my customers a '66 Batgirl figure, and knowingly shipped it thusly with two "neck" holes for whatever reason, I'd be ashamed. Wouldn't my company and its products be a personal reflection on me, the entrepreneur?
Let's say that the extra hole was originally intended for a ponytail-like swatch of hair, and then rooting was chosen. So what? Do the right, not the expedient, thing, FTC.
Varied scales--good enough? Off-model heads--good enough? Off-model clothes--good enough?
When is enough, enough? And no, the solution is not voting with our wallets. The solution is FTC demonstrating both vision and integrity. They should strive for it; we as potential customers deserve it.
There is such a thing as a recall, eh? Even making a reworked Batgirl head available at a nominal price would be a step in the right direction. Something, anything instead of this glib "take what you get and like it."
Sorry, I'm ticked.

I can't remember if I read it here or on Facebook but someone had posted that you could easily adjust the length of her hair.
(No need to cut it) I assumed they meant that it could be pulled or pushed.
Could that have something to do with the hole?
Maybe to pull the hair in shorter with a tweezers or something?Leave a comment:

I can only guess that the original neck hole, which looks to be the one in the back of the head, under her hair, wasn't supposed to be that far back so they (the factory?) cut/melted a new hole under her chin. The other Batgirl 66 figure I got is the same so I assume that they all may be like that. I am just beyond words!

Between this issue, the fact that the body refuses to stand straight, the sloppy sewing, loose left elbow, rough sculpt (Whoever did the head sculpt for this figure should be shown the door immediately!) and overall shoddy workmanship, I am just amazed and so so very disappointed. And the really surprising thing about all of this? Her head isn't as freakishly large as I had thought it was going to be!Last edited by lilbrosj66; Mar 24, '16, 5:48 PM.Leave a comment:

I don't even know where to begin, Part 1: This figure has to be the BEST WORST figure FTC has ever put out! From taking her out of the box, to opening her, through checking her over and seeing what needed fixing to making adjustments as best I could to get her ready for display, I will let the pictures tell the story. And aside from this I got a full set of this wave of Batman 66 INSTEAD of the Superfriends Wave2 that I ordered!

FWIW, I got mine today.
It really does look better in person.
Is it as nice as Brian's or Jessica's? Of course not.
It doesn't even look as good as the first Batman and Robin, or Tut, or the Joker, or the Penguin... but it does look good!
The body sucks, but we all knew that already. The head is too big, but depending on how you display it, it's really not that bad.
I will wait and see how the acetone shrink turns out, and if I feel like swapping out the body. Otherwise I just plan to get a custom mego style windowbox, throw it on the shelf next to the others and be done with it.Leave a comment:

I also got batgirl today.yes the heads a bit to large.I wonder why they didn't paint the ears black.regardless of her faults I like her.i like the arms gloves idea.however I do think she would have benefited having jayna gloves to more match batman and robin .its still a nice toy. And its just a toy.the only thing that's really a stand out in negative is the head size.imo.Leave a comment:

Mine arrived today ... I think Batgirl looks much better in hand (in my opinion). She looks great w/ the Dynamic Duo. I open mine and put them in retro Mego style boxes to display and her head does look bigger at certain angles (mostly from down / up). Overall, I like this figure ... although the "high" belt is the one neg.Leave a comment:
