Of course, we can always try to put an improved Batgirl head on a Zica body, but we'd need a better neck adaptor for that.
Is there an image of the body DM had proposed? I don't remember seeing that. Or if I did it was so long ago I've forgotten.

If we are talking about the '66 line, I'm a bit worried as well. An Eartha Kitt Catwoman would be my HOLY GRAIL of figures and if she were to come out all jacked up I would be so bummed. On an epic level. There aren't really any other characters from the show that I would be interested in getting except her so that's as far as I go with concern. As far as the other lines, I'm going to be pretty picky from now on about what figures I spend my hard earned money on.

I completely agree. There is no consistency at all. Some of the figures they have put out, especially from the '66 line are just incredible in both head sculpts and costuming. I look at them as I have them displayed and think "Wow, THAT is such a cool figure!". I wish I could say the same for Batgirl. Everytime I look at her, on the same shelf, I think "What a mess."

Aside from what I had to do to get Batgirl in decent shape, I also had to glue Barbara Gordon's back in place just so she would stand up straight. I know their female figures are notorious for not holding a pose but I can usually at least get them to stand straight for display. Her I could not. No matter what I did and how careful I was, she'd hunch over. Reluctantly, I put a drop of superglue on each side of her waist to hold her straight. ****ed that I have to do that. I have 40+ year old Mego female bodies that are still doing better than a brand new FTC female body.

If anything, I actually like the figure even more because of this thread. It's given her some notoriety!

I can't wait to see what FTC has planned for the next wave...

I cancelled my order for this wave if FTC is going to show us awesome looking prototypes then cut costs and give us crap figures I'm out. The figure is supposed to be better then the prototype. Note to FTC if you cut the quality you will cut your own business. I have been on board since day one but I am not going to buy figures that look like crap to complete a set. Maybe you made enough money and just don't care anymore I don't know what's going on but fix it or just drop out.

Got a replacement Batgirl in the mail today. Elbows still loose but not cracked, so I'm accepting it as a design flaw. The hair doesn't look too bad this time around--not like a rat's nest as before.

At least FTC was quick about sending it back. The entire process was under a week.

I just received her as a gift. I have not opened her yet. She looks great in the package , no issues others have had.

I was hoping that when I saw pictures of the actual figure, that I would like her better, but the face still bothers me.
I may have to pass on her. :(
