Okay, those look much better, more in line with Robin. Samurai's head size looks perfect, and Zan's, as well. Apache Chief looks a little rough, like it's not quite finished, but it's still good. Maybe a touch big, but still in vintage Thor range and definitely not a deal breaker. These three capture the looks of the HB cartoon dead on; Even the whites of the eyes aren't colored in white, just like the cartoon. And that definitely looks like a fist on Zan's left hand; if Jayna's right hand matches, I've got to give FTC some kudoes for making them able to do the classic "activate"pose. That was definitely not expected. Only problem I see is that Zan's eyes are looking in the wrong direction (right rather than left), which will look really strange if he's bumping fists with his sister.The boots are still a little funky, but, again, not a deal breaker; these likely would have come later in the Mego line if they'd been made back in the day, so they might have had more Thor/Teen Titans style boots.
If these figures come through looking like this, I'm definitely getting them. If I don't get the majority of the figures, I can always tweak the hair to make them fit in with the regular Megos repros. Thing is, they're well done enough to make the effort worthwhile. I jumped the gun on dismissing the whole line based on just one figure, and for that, I owe FTC an apology. Supes is still a terrible figure, but he seems to be the exception here in quality and head size. I'm hoping this means the macroencephalitis is going to be the exception in the future; I really want to give FTC my money here.

Is that a different belt design they are using for these? I like it; should be easier to fit on different types of bodies out there since it is adjustable. Just have to figure out what to do with the extra. Maybe use one of those clear rubber bands to "tie" it to the rest of the belt and not stick out.

Supes looks better up close but I think hes still the weakest of the ones shown. His hair looks good and I like the cape.

The new pictures do help bring things more in line as far as scale goes. These pictures make me more likely to buy from this line. Again, Wonder Woman will make or break it for me. Please let her have rooted hair!

Zan's likeness is SPOT ON! Likeness is GREAT!

I don't remember Apache Chief having a flip do though.

Just saw that too. Apache Chief and Samurai look great. Not a fan of the Wonder Twins so that's an easy skip for me. Superman still looks off even with this better shot.

The pics aren't really much to go by, but I'm going to likely be all in or all out on this line. It'd be a shame to have a Superman that is the weak link of the SUPER Friends.

Ignoring the size issue, the head isn't remotely close to the Toth design. The Robin looked good in that respect, but this one misses the mark entirely. It's a shame; had these turned out well, I'd have snagged all 11 SF figures and the whole Legion of Doom if they made them. That's a lot of figures I could have shelled out money for I'm saving, but I'd rather have had the figures.

Day 2.

I'm still seeing Jailhouse Rock Elvis in a Superman suit with thick boots.

I'll wait until I see the whole 5 main characters together before I'll know if these are a must have or a skip.
