They just announced wave 2 at Power-Con, it's going to be Sorceress, Trap Jaw, Tri-Klops, and Man-At-Arms. They will be out at SDCC but most likely the unpainted prototype ones first. -
Im definately getting these down the road. Was never into MOTU, but these are gems. I just have a problem with these, I just dont know how to display them, without getting a acrylic case for each. Ive got the Alien series, and they are still stuck in the mailer box ;(Leave a comment:

I was wondering if they'd ever come out.... the unpainted ones having been on the market so long ago.
Saw them at PowerCon after they sold out.
Not my top desired purchase... not sure if I would have bought them... but, yes, they look great, and, yes, a really cool concept.Leave a comment:

That's the best 3 3/4 card art I've ever seen. I ordered a full case from BBTS. I really hope they at least do a series 2.
We need Man-at Arms, Stratos, Zodac, and Teela. Then if they want to get really ambitious, series 3 with Tri-Klops, Trap Jaw, Man-e-Faces, and Evil Lyn!Leave a comment:

I keep saying this...but i think I REALLY need those. That has to be some of the best figure/packaging combos in years.
Plus, I desperately wanted these back in 1983!

Got mine a few weeks ago. They are absolutely lovely. I can't afford a second set to open, so they remain on their gloriously illustrated cards. If you haven't yet picked these up, and you like this format, they get my highest recommendation. (And I've never collected MOTU in my life, but I love the characters!)

Yeah, the card art is great. Really looks like something you could have found in stores in the late 70s/early 80s.Leave a comment:

I like those. Wish the rest of the re-action figures would follow suit.Leave a comment:

Those are gorgeous. The card art reminds me more of some of the painted storybook covers than the actual MOTU boxes...and that's not a bad thing at all!

That card art is amazing...this redeems them for those stupid black and white figures. LOLLeave a comment:
