With some work and a little patience, the Falcon can look really good. Out of the box, it's kinda blah, but after rubbing it with some Minwax ebony stain (sealed with Testors flat clear,) the wealth of deatail really comes out. Sorry for the crappy iPhone photo, I'll try to take some better shots this weekend.

What's the Star Wars Heroes series? Will these ships accommodate the 3 3/4" OTC figures?

No the vehicles themselves are the "heros" Damn shame too as the XiWing would be in scale I believe. Of course the wongs don't open up either, not sure how you sell and X-Wing when the wings won't go into the X position. God sometimes i wish I worked for toy companies.

I'm all for kids using their imaginations. It just seems odd that figures can't be put in it. I think that would limit it's play value.

I remember hearing some where that Hasbro was testing the market for vehicles the two tests were the Star Wars vehicles that were not able to be used with figures and the guardians of the galaxy small figures with small ships which ones wins is how they will handle vehicles in the future for all other lines

Yep agreed...but back in da day we played with all sorts of very CoOL toys and we were outside for hours at a time...ohhh how the times have changed... :(....

This version of the Millenium Falcon seems like an Anti-Toy to me. What's a kid suppose to do with it?

maybe do it ol school...use their imagination !!!

They are like the vehicle equivalent of the jumbo 31 inch Jakks figures. Not for me, but I understand the reasons for them. Something large but still relatively light and inexpensive for kids to fly around. I've also seen that modelers are having fun customizing and painting them. It's like having a large low cost store display or model. The X-Wing is perfect movie scale with the 3 3/4 figures.

Lynn - They were not on the shelf yet, and were buried under a pile of boxes on the pallet. Probably on the shelves now, tho. I will look next time I am at the store. It was a WalMart, so they may have them up on their website.
