Thankfully, Hot Toys didn't make a Steve Ditko Spiderman or they would have more of my money.

I think if they went the "classic" route and did Ditko and Romita versions of Spider-Man and Kirby versions of anybody, we'd all be emptying our pockets into Hot Toys' coffers....!

I've got the regular suit version... can the black suit version be purchased without the enormous Sandman base? I can only imagine how huge the box must be.

It's amazing how Hot Toys got the suit to look less like a basketball than they did/do in the film. And I do agree----it's pretty astounding for them to have a figure out so far ahead of the film! Talk about Speedy Gonzales!!!!

I am really hoping for a HT Doc Ock at some point. I can't even imagine how awesome they could make him.

I love both of the Spider-Man figures I have from Hot Toys. The figure allows for excellent Spider-Man-like poses. and the costumes look great.While I'd prefer a comic accurate costume, these are really nice. I think I like the Black one a bit better, now, but I also just got it, too.

The box design on both are great, too.

I just got the Black Spider-Man last week, but it makes sense with the film coming out.

How are you liking the black outfitted Spider-man? Did Hot Toys do a good job on that? I've seen pics, but I like hearing from those that actually hold one in their hands. It looks very cool.

I really dislike the whole "rubber look" outfit, so I won't need to spend any money. Whew!
